These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your use of the Got Plates Basic and Premium Membership (“Membership”) services provided by Got Plates, LLC (“Got Plates,” “we,” or “us”). By enrolling in the Membership, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions, as well as any additional terms and conditions that may apply to specific services or features.
- Membership Overview
Got Plates offers two membership tiers: Basic and Premium, designed to provide independent car dealerships with the necessary tools, education, and consultation to help manage, streamline, and grow their operations. Membership includes, but is not limited to, access to the following services:
- Renewal Course: A comprehensive course to help you stay up-to-date with the latest industry regulations and licensing requirements.
- DMV Portal Management: Assistance with managing the DMV portal, ensuring your paperwork is in order and you are compliant with state laws.
- Dealer Consultation: Personalized advice tailored to your dealership’s specific needs to help improve operations and compliance.
- Use of DMV Portal Username and Password
As part of the services provided under both the Basic and Premium Memberships, you agree to provide Got Plates with access to your DMV Portal Username and Password (“Credentials”) in order to facilitate DMV Portal Management services. By providing us with your Credentials, you authorize Got Plates to access the DMV Portal on your behalf for the sole purpose of fulfilling the services associated with your Membership.
- Authorization for DMV Portal Access
By enrolling in the Got Plates Membership, you grant Got Plates the right to:
- Use your DMV Portal Username and Password to access, update, and manage your DMV account on your behalf.
- Access all relevant information necessary for the performance of services related to your Membership, including but not limited to, registration, renewal, and compliance assistance.
- Ensure your documentation is accurate and up-to-date to help maintain compliance with state regulations.
You acknowledge that Got Plates will not use your DMV Portal Username and Password for any purpose other than to provide the services outlined in your Membership, and that any personal information retrieved will be handled in accordance with Got Plates’ privacy policy.
- Security and Confidentiality
Got Plates is committed to maintaining the confidentiality and security of your Credentials. We will take all reasonable precautions to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. However, by providing your Credentials to Got Plates, you acknowledge that no data transmission over the internet is entirely secure, and you accept the inherent risks involved.
It is your responsibility to promptly notify Got Plates of any changes to your DMV Portal Username, Password, or any security breaches related to your DMV account.
- Membership Fees and Payment Terms
Membership fees for the Basic and Premium Memberships are charged on a recurring basis as outlined on the Got Plates website or as specified in your Membership plan. Fees may vary based on the level of service chosen. By enrolling in the Membership, you authorize Got Plates to charge the provided payment method for the applicable fees.
- Basic Membership Fee: $199.00
- Premium Membership Fee: $399.00
Membership fees are non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or in accordance with Got Plates’ refund policy.
- Termination and Cancellation
You may cancel your Got Plates Membership at any time by notifying Got Plates in writing or through your account portal. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the Membership services until the end of your current billing cycle.
Got Plates reserves the right to terminate or suspend your Membership for violations of this Agreement, including unauthorized use of the DMV Portal Credentials or failure to comply with the terms set forth herein.
- Limitation of Liability
Got Plates will use reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the services provided, but we do not guarantee that the DMV Portal will be error-free or uninterrupted. Got Plates is not liable for any losses, damages, or delays resulting from issues with the DMV Portal or other third-party services.
In no event shall Got Plates be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profit, business interruption, or reputational harm, arising out of the use of the Membership services.
- Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which Got Plates is based, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding related to this Agreement must be brought in the state or federal courts located in [Insert Jurisdiction], and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
- Amendments
Got Plates reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. All changes will be posted on the Got Plates website, and you will be notified of any material changes. Your continued use of the Membership services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.
- Privacy Policy
By using the Membership services, you agree to the collection, use, and sharing of your personal information as described in Got Plates’ Privacy Policy. Please review the Privacy Policy for further details on how your data is handled.
